May 2022 aw the return of The 23rd edition of the International Conference on Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis (also known as PYRO2022) in Ghent, Belgium.

Erik Heeres, University if Gronigen, The Netherlands is the leader of ABC-Salt and delivered keynote Keynote Lecture 1 titled ‘The pyrolysis biorefinery: Opportunities and challenge’.
Keynote Lecture 8 was delivered by Robbie Venderbosch (pictured), BTG Biomass Technology Group, The Netherlands. Titled: ‘History of biomass fast pyrolysis’
