Magnus Zingler Stumman

Magnus Zingler Stumman

Principal Scientist in Clean and Renewable Fuels Hydrotreating

Expert speaker, Magnus Stumann is currently based at Haldor Topsøe, Denmark. Mangus has PhD in catalytic hydropyrolysis of biomass for the production of renewable diesel and gasoline. The focus of his PhD thesis was optimization of the process conditions and the catalyst. Dr Stumann’s current work at Haldor Topsøe is within chemical reaction engineering with focus on hydroprocessing of renewable feedstocks to produce transport fuels. His core research includes development of new catalysts, design and commissioning of new test units, evaluation of state-of-the-art for advanced biofuels, pilot plant tests, and kinetic modelling.

Robbie Venderbosch

Robbie Venderbosch

Senior Engineer at BTG Biomass Technology Group

PhD, senior R&D process engineer, is an expert in thermal biomass conversion technologies. He studied chemical engineering at TU Delft and received his PhD at the University of Twente. Robbie Venderbosch’s research interest concerns bio-based applications, with emphasis on heterogeneous catalysis in relation to chemical reaction engineering, and specific focus on all kinds of possibilities to bridge the gap between biomass related activities and petrochemical engineering. Robbie is co-author of around 50 papers in international peer reviewed journals, approx. 15 patents in the field of biomass (applications) and ~ 10 book chapters. Robbie is involved in the evaluation of a variety of research proposals
